FAQs

  • The skate fish is made of elm and the base is made of oak burl. All wood was responsibly sourced.

  • I’ve used power tools as well as hand tools to complete this project. In total (not including drying) it took over 40hrs - 5 sessions. The fish was kept in natural wood colours and only burning was used to enhance the grain. Finished with Danish oil and BlackBison liquid wax.
