The shell and eye stalks are made of elm and for the snails body I’ve used lime wood. All wood was responsibly sourced.

I’ve used power tools as well as hand tools to complete this project. In total (not including drying) it took over 15hrs - 3 sessions. This snail was kept in natural wood colours and only burning was used to enhance the grain. Finished with Danish oil and polyurethane lacquer.
